More Info

The Banana Festival is a multicultural extravaganza, featuring delicious foods from the Caribbean, Central America, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Africa and Pacific Rim cultures, as well as traditional festival foods.

The theme this year is the “Funky Banana Festival” celebration. The Sacramento Banana Festival is a two-day family-friendly multicultural celebration of the diverse cultures that use the banana as food, held each August at William Land Park ( 3800 W Land Park Dr, Sacramento, CA 95822) near Sutterville Rd. The Banana Festival features live entertainment on two stages, a chefs’ challenge, line dancing, pageants, fashion show, art exhibits, exhibits by dozens of local businesses and community organizations, arts and crafts activities, kiddie carnival rides, and lots of banana cuisine. Don't miss out on all the fun so come on out and join the KNCI street team Sunday, Aug 13th from 12n-5p!
